Sustainability
Sustainability is not an extra layer at Skelp, but a starting point. We start from the belief that building should be less, not more. Compact volumes, thoughtful layouts, and a long lifespan form the basis of every design. By focusing on mobility and reusability, we avoid permanent alterations to the environment and extend the lifecycle of each unit.

Materials
Skelp works with its own steel frame as a structural basis. This allows for larger spans, permits a high insulation thickness, and guarantees stability and long-term reusability. The units are insulated with high-performance materials that meet today's comfort and energy requirements.
For the exterior finish, we consciously choose sustainable types of wood, such as charred wood (Shou Sugi Ban) or thermally treated wood. These materials age beautifully, require little maintenance, and align with a natural, minimalist appearance. Inside, we work with honest, robust materials that can withstand use and are not trend-sensitive.

Identity & finish
Each Skelp unit carries our identity in a subtle way. The Skelp logo is not added as decoration, but machined into the steel frame. It is part of the construction itself — discreet, durable, and lasting. Just like our architecture, the brand is not a layer on top, but an integral part of the whole.
